USA Patriot Act
The Act was written shortly after September 11, 2001 to prevent, detect, and prosecute the financing of terrorism. Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person applying to do business with them.
When you apply to open an account we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your license or other identifying documents.
